Treatment of Woodland for Non-Timber Benefits in South East England
R. C. STERN
Forestry Commission
Reference is made to a study by the South East England Group. Because non-timber benefits axe often the most important in this region, the Group concentrated on the silvicultural aspects rather than economics. A set of guidelines for silviculture based on the Group's findings is included.
