FOREST FIRE DANGER TABLES FOR SOUTHERN ENGLAND

The influence of rainfall, temperature, relative humidity, wind force and season of the year is discussed shortly in relation to the origin and initial spread of forest fires and a method of assessing the degree of fire danger is given by reference to five simple tables.
